A young pregnant woman was shopping in Furn el Chebbak, her water broke, people rush to help her out and she ends up giving birth to a …. garbage bag. The act was well executed and performed by #Tol3etRi7etkoun and they were able to shock and awe the bystanders but I didn’t quite understand the idea to begin with. Giving birth to garbage bags? What does that even mean and how is it related to the garbage crisis?
They are pointing out at the ongoing garbage crisis, the state of hospitals in Lebanon and other health care issues but showing a woman giving birth to a garbage bag was a bad idea in my opinion.

The idea is that Lebanese people will be much more intrested in watching a woman give birth in the street than another video showing the garbage crisis in the forests. It takes into consideration the types of crapy things people would press a link to see. I think that why so many people were pissed off haha, they didnt get to see a woman going into labour on the street. And it proved its point by going viral in 2 hours. (Personal Opinion)
Good idea to raise awareness on the overall situation in the country. I liked it.
The point of it is to show people how easily offended they are at a video, but not about living in garbage. And it worked, everyone got butthurt. If only we can get this butthurt over something that actually matters in real life.

Its an intelligent idea on how to get people attention. Plus it is very symbolic when it comes to the fact of gicing birth to a garbage bag, because basically if the sitauation is not resolved asap, any child being born now will have a lot of health problem in the near future as if we don’t care about our future childrens.
