Hayat Jaber Ali Ahmad paid a visit to “Al Fanar”, a mental hospital in the Msayleh area and shared disturbing images and testimonies from the place which has been neglected for over two years now. The patients there have been literally left to die out there, there’s garbage everywhere, no heating, no electricity, no washers, barely any food, no bed covers and no meds for the patients.

The hospital staff are not getting paid anymore, and more than half the patients don’t get visits from their families. The situation is deplorable to say the least and requires a swift intervention.
