What Duty free? Do you mean the Tang shop? Are there massive amounts of people scurring around Beirut Airport with bags of Tang?
I dunno if u carry a tang bang my friend but i have never seen that in beirut airport… Tene shi allah yer7am jeddak keyen men paris la2ano, ndefis fez 3a aslak… Men wain ma kent tkoun…
Beirut duty free copied the T-Mobile ad. They’re all copying each other so I guess its okay :p
T-Mobile ad copied Improv Everywhere’s Frozen Grand Central.
Exactly 😀
Correct, all are copying the T-Mobile Flash Mob; however, and just for the highlights, this flash mob isn’t the first in Dubai; they already did many but the first one was dated back to Aug 2008 done at Mall Of Emirates, one of the most crowded malls at that time.
thanks mark. that’s 4:51 minutes that i won’t get back again. Beirut duty-free(copied/inspired/w/e)was still fun to watch 🙂
I agree with above. Beirut Duty Free’s was so much better. It was fresh and fun. Dubai Duty Free lacked that much like many other things in that country it had no soul, it wasn’t inspired by their culture but incorporated other people’s cultures and music. Big fail on their part.
the songs played in the dubai flashmob dont related to dubai at all…well other than to it’s clubs.. No Emirati song or folklore etc??
the Beirut airport flashmob was more original plus was executed in a better way!
The one in Beirut is @ least presented by Lebanese dancers performing a Lebanese dance.
yep agree the Lebanese one has the dabke with an emotional attraction , Dubai is just bought …
Yes Beirut’s flash mob was genuine and Lebanese, but personally I didn’t like the song, the singer’s voice and style are kind of weird, it’s just that this is not what comes to my mind when I think of Lebanese houwara. The whole flash mob idea is getting old. We get it, you’re trying to dance in coordinated moves, to make us believe it’s a spontaneous act while everybody in their sane mind knows you have been practicing your ass off for the last few weeks for this modest “presentation”, that is if you didn’t bring and train professional dancers for the thingy, which looks like the case of Dubai’s flash mob.
