i would like to ask with respect to all , who the hell you like in lebanon ? You crtisize all … Ask your parents about the ad and you ll get the right opinions about the actor , coz ur parents are lebanese and you pretend to be Foreigners,
So show a litle respect plz
thanks
Hitler moustache? Nazi salute? Come on guys! You’re overdoing it. Why not say “Charlie Chaplin moustache”? And this so-called salute? It’s only a sweeping hand gesture.
I love George Khabbaz. Everything he does is so heart-warming. And this is his look- nothing nazi or hitlery about him- its the inspiration of Charlie Chaplin like Barakat said.
Even if this picture doesn’t imply anything, still it is childish and ugly. You would feel as if it targets 3 year olds !!
And the radio commercial is absolutly lame and annoying ! It actually reminded me of Fadi and Carine and how much i hated them and how much I was happy not to hear from them again!
i totally agree with alain. GROW UP. it’s an AD u might like it or u might not. stop wailing about every single thing u see in lebanon and diss it. move on.
To start off with my comment, i have to point out that although the entrance ticket to his plays are cheap and i sometimes get free ticket, I have never went to his plays.
I like his work, i watch it on TV. He is able to do some decent comedy that doesn’t revolve around sexual connotations and vulgar statements. He is the best among all the comedy performances although he has done plays that are a little similar to each other but he always has a message to issue.
The ad is inspired by one of characters, i suppose it was a funny scene about Dinner and “Delivery”. So Hawa chicken advertising team decided to go with a popular character that people love and they thought it was funny.
It turned out the opposite. I still haven’t heard or seen the commercials but I was very disturbed of the billboard ad I even told him (George Khabbaz) how ugly it is.
He had nothing to say but to blame the company for it. But pointed out that the other ads were fine.
I think here, we should direct our angry voices (or words) toward the Hawa Chicken team, not George.
and Najib, i think you have watched his plays to conclude that he has the same story in different plot, RIGHT?
Just to be clear about my opinion. It was just about the ad and not George. I totaly respect George ! He’s smart and talented even if his work does not satisfy everybody’s taste ! Nothing does anyways !!
I don’t know why some people keep telling me I criticize and hate everything in Lebanon. Do you guys even read all my posts?
If I tend to point out things I find wrong or inappropriate, it’s because they are and that’s how I feel about them. There are tons of stuff to like in Lebanon and tons more to dislike and comment on and I tend to find nice things to post about but it’s not that evident all the time.
I don’t like George Khabbaz neither his plays and the ad is horrible and he looks like he’s doing the Nazi salute la Charlie Chaplin wala ballout. Oh and I don’t give a damn about what political party he belongs to. I didn’t even know until lately and I hated his plays already.
The fact that you can criticise Lebanon and not get arrested is what makes Lebanon great, so the louder the criticism gets, the happier you all should be 🙂
I totally agree..saw this a few days back and all i thought was wtf…is this a way to sell chicken?
the radio commercial is so annoying and lame..you would expect more from georges khabbaz.
Why would you expect more?
He sucks at everything he does. Terrible actor.
i am not a fan either but you have to admit that it takes a creative guy to write and produce plays non-stop and his shows are always fully booked.
They are fully booked because the tickets are for 5000 LL. He’s trying too hard and always repeating the same story with a different setup.

Shu khass alain? Your argument is meaningless. The pixels in the head are the size of my head, the ad sucks, big time.
This ad kind of sucks, but Georges Khabaz does not!
Com on guys! The ad is funny. Not the billboard one but the one on z radio. “kel yawm doulivary”. Haha

this isnt exactly the way 2 seel chicken but goerge khabbaz is a good and funny actor regerdless of this stupid comercial (its real dumb
Even though I dont know the actor I bet the reason Naj hates him is because he supports a different political party

i have to agree with Najib on this one, the Ad. is stupid, and I personally do not like the actor.
and come on guys, not every time someone criticizes someone or something you start wailing about it!
and @fatsamurai this might come as a shock to you, but not everything revolves around politics…grow up
