In yet another provocative move by the Israeli army, their troops infiltrated the Lebanese territory today and planted an Israeli flag in Maroun el Ras, a small village located about 120 km south of East Beirut and only 1 km away from the borders. The flag was placed in a small park close to the mosque known as the “Iran Garden“.

The “Iran garden” was donated by the Iranian regime and is dedicated to those who died fighting Israelis in 2006. It was visited by the previous Iranian President Ahmadinejad and it included an observation tower and a huge statue of Iranian commander Qassem Suleimani.
