Two Lebanese Athletes will be competing at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, Jacky Chamoun and Alexander Mohbat, both in Alpine Skiing. I was surprised not to see Chirine Njeim’s name on that list, but according to this article, The Lebanese Federation picked Jacky over her. I have to say this is very weird as Chirine is the best Lebanese skier we’ve got and even Jacky admits it:

“Chirine is the best skier in Lebanon,” she said. “Of course, I always think if Chirine could have been in my place maybe she could have made a better result for Lebanon.”
