Lebanese-American professional basketball player Rony Seikaly celebrated on his Instagram 32 years of holding the record for most rebounds in a game. On December 1, 1993, Seikaly grabbed 34 rebounds while playing for the Miami Heat against the Orlando Magic, a number that remains unchallenged to this day.
Dennis Rodman grabbed 34 rebounds in a single game a year earlier, on April 4, 1992, while playing for the Chicago Bulls against the New Jersey Nets. The record for most rebounds in a game still belongs to Wilt Chamberlain, with 55 boards against the Boston Celtics on November 24, 1960.
After retiring from basketball, Seikaly turned to music and is now a DJ.
