We have a new trophy for the Lebanese basketball league and it’s gigantic to say the least! The trophy was beautifully sculpted by Rudy Rahme, is meant to symbolize unity and weighs a whopping 22 kilos. In comparison, the NBA Cup weighs 16 kilos while the FIFA World Cup Trophy weighs approximately 7 kilos.

I can’t argue much with the design as every Rudy Rahme work is a masterpiece but I wonder if it’s not a bit too much for a basketball trophy. Nevertheless, any team that will get to keep this trophy in his lockers will be a lucky one.
