Al Arabiya mentioned yesterday that the woman who was puffing on a cigarette on a Middle East Airlines (MEA) flight was taken into custody upon landing. One of the blog’s readers mentioned that the plane did an emergency landing and handed the woman to the police.
It would be interesting to know if she was jailed or fined or banned from traveling. I hope she didn’t just get a warning and walk out.
chances are, she got herself the fair penalty.. assuming she wasn’t dropped in Lebanon !
Justice should know no age. She broke the law with her stubbornness, and she got what she deserved.
