3,000 tickets, 135$ per ticket
The slogan behind the car says “The closest you’ll ever be to a Mercedes SLS AMG 2011”. pretty cocky of them… I’m sure that in about 10 to 15 years I can afford to buy an SLS AMG 2011 🙂

So they make slightly over $400,000. How much is the car worth anyway?
For an expensive car, the “velvet ropes” look quite flimsy.
Akeed without gumruk.
Really Jad – I didn’t notice the rope til you mentioned it
The ropes are more like the type u use to put a bow on a gift
Man what a car..
Jad,
It starts at 183,000$
Pretty nice idea for a business:
Buy a car for 183,000$ then sell tickets for 400,000$ for one winner.
Net profit: 217,000$
not being picky Joe, but it’s not NET profit.
you need contacts and $ to sell the tickets in Beirut Intl Airport :).
but such business is always good whatsoever.
Najib, i doubt that an SLS 63 AMG starts at 183K, it’s 201K in the gulf, i think it costs in the 250 300K range
Chahe,
najib must have done a google search and obtained the price from the net. Thusly he is correct irrespective of how much the Gulfies are duped into paying.
The SLS starts at 183K, not the AMG
Always noticed different cars with the latest models but never heard anything about the winners !! Suspicious !!!
Najib, come on! We all know you can afford the car today! ;D
wanna go for a spin?
AKK: A friend of mine actually won a car
Just checking previous comments, the SLS only comes in one model, which is the SLS AMG. There is no other version of the car, so only one price. I highly doubt that it is $180,000; but then again I am not sure of the price. I am only sure that there is only one SLS.
Just did a bit of research and I found that the 183k price is for the USA. This is the quoted text:
“he 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG will make its way to dealerships in North America starting this May. According to the PR hanging around the Mercedes-Benz display at the 2010 New York Auto Show, the 2011 SLS AMG will carry a starting price-tag of $183,000 when it goes on sale.”
The website is : http://www.egmcartech.com/2010/04/01/2011-mercedes-benz-sls-amg-prices-to-start-around-183000/
The price of this beast must be in the 300-400 range considering high prices in lebanon.
Mark : Marbook to your freind 🙂
lol , Mabrook** my arabic su*k
i love the mercedes-benz sls 63 amg
Guys you got to remember that you win the car in the Duty Free zone, that means if you do actually win, you will have to pay customs, and the customs and registration to be able to drive this baby is way north of a $100k, not to mention insurance that is way up there, something like 4% of total price minus registration…interesting…
Hi Ronman, I already posted about his subject a while ago. you can check it out here https://blogbaladi.com/chahe/lebanon/win-an-aston-martin-vantage-at-beirut-airport/
