I was checking if the word “شعطة” has a specific meaning in the Arabic language but I couldn’t find it online. “شعطة” can be used for a person (مشعوط) which means he’s bit crazy and reckless and can be used with food to mean it’s hot or burning. I sometimes use it to describe a person but that’s about it. The only useful link I found was one that claims the word is an old forgotten Jordanian term.

Maybe we should ask Jammal Trust about it.
