The famous Abdul Rahman Hallab Sweets shop is opening on the Jounieh highway soon. That’s great news as I will no longer have to go to Tripoli to enjoy their awesome Halawit el Jeben.
You can check out more about Hallab on its [website]

I thought there was already one on maameltein on the seaside road next to that hotel that has a round top I can’t remember its name.
There are actually 3 different Hallab pastry groups: 1. Rafaat al Hallab: that’s the one you’re referring to in Maameltein, and it’s got other branches in Batroun, Jbeil, and Broumanna
2. Abdul Kader: Sin el Fil
3. Abdul Rahman: more recently dubbed as Kasr el Helou, with its flagship outlet in Tripoli and now a shop in Sin el Fil and another on the way in Jounieh, as Najib posted
Well I didn’t know that, thanks for the info.
شي بيفتح النفس..
great photo 🙂
My sister used to work for them, they are super clean and follow some ISO standard for food … just to add to the good news 🙂
They have a branch near mirna chalouhi
Clean but cheapest people on earth
What do you mean Anony? for me this is the one and only who does the best oriental sweets and a part of our childhood memories.
