I received a couple of days ago a picture of a candidate for the upcoming elections accompanied by a sick joke. The person who sent it to me was asking me if I had heard about this candidate, who seems like a candidate with special needs and whether he’s truly running in the upcoming elections or not.

I looked up online but I only found articles and FB posts condemning the demeaning posts and tasteless jokes directed at the candidate. If someone is pulling a prank on this young man, then they should be tracked down and arrested and if he’s truly running in the coming elections, then this may be a first in Lebanese elections and I salute him for doing so!
