This was probably taken last winter because the Beirut Solar project on the river is not there.
The city looks so “serene” from this angle 😛
I think this picture is at least 3 years old. Port Beirut has 5 large quay cranes in the photo, while we’ve had 12 cranes for the past 16 months.
that looks like the suburbs to me, how is La Marina in Beirut? You can barely even see Biel in there!

and i think you are right this is an old picture. i knew it from the Karting Circuit des Champions located at Dayshounieh area (upper right of the picture) … it is no longer available … it is transformed to large warehouses.
