People have been sharing pictures of a red Berdawni river since yesterday. It appears that color originated from a chemical or a dye from a nearby factory in Hzerta. This is not the first time such a thing happens after Beirut’s (already heavily polluted) river turned red few years back and the (also heavily polluted) Litani River turned white.
Since we’re polluting all our rivers, someone should tell these guys to wait for Valentine to color it in red, or maybe wait for Independence Day and send out a mix of green & red polluting chemicals.
