As Safir daily said that the ministry’s team of experts headed by Bassam Sabbagh made an initial finding that the pollutant has no odor and that the red color could come from blood, a chemical, or a dye. [Link]
It can’t possibly be blood! Final results are yet to come out.
Speaking of investigations, we have yet to hear from the head of the Audit bureau on the red diesel scandal. Is it that hard to figure out?
Update: It’s definitely not blood. Most probably a dye. [Link]
Wooow everyone is talking about my period! Chill people 😉
You should have linked to the DailyStar who’ve posted the reason which is dye.
Poor Lebanon. It has the most sources of drinking water in the region; yet it allows these “protected” factories to dump all their refuse & toxic chemicals in their drinking source.
If anyone would take a survey of all the factories situated on the rivers of Lebanon; you’d see what kind of ‘politicians” you have! It is totally nauseating and incomprehensible.
