How does Hussein Massoud translate to George Massoud? I thought it was a mistake at first but I read somewhere that the guy’s original name is Hussein George Massoud. I can’t confirm it but now I’m curious to know the story behind that guy and this school.
Does anyone know anything about it?

NOOOOOO! Why dude? why?????? ?O.o?
Hussein Massoud is a Lebanese Druze who hails from the town of Bchamoun. in the early twenties he emigrated penniless to Canada where he started an Ice-cream business and eventually made fortune in Kingston, Canada. In Canada he changed his name to George. He died heirless but split his heritage between several caritative associations in Canada (one park bears his name), his hometown here (he built the school) and his family (every Massoud (druze, christian, lebanese or syrian) received a part of his heritage! I got this information from his close relatives (Hussein, Bassam and Yasmine Massoud) who are living here! i can get you their contacts for further details of the story of one of the first lebanese philanthropists!
