Here's amateur footage of the 8.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Japan today. Tsunami alerts have been issued in more than 10 countries. We've been warned about future earthquakes in Lebanon and I can only imagine the devastation a similar strength earthquake would cause in Lebanon. Look at the amount of damage Japan received and their infrastructure and buildings are designed to withstand earthquakes.
