It’s easy to blame the authorities here for everything and we’re usually right most of the time, but believe it or not, the rise in local oil prices is not something the government can control. Gas prices are going up globally due to several factors, such as the threat of new sanctions on Iran, unrest in Venezuelan oil fields and a diminishing oil supply.

The 20liters (Tankit Benzine) price is nearing the 30,000LL, which marks a 7000 LL increase from last year and prices might even get higher. I’m looking at this the positive way and hoping more people will carpool, hence less traffic 😜
