Ecosouk, a store that has opened in Hamra on February 6, is making itself heard, by becoming the first Lebanese zero-waste shop, and probably the Middle East. Founded in 2015 by Recycle Lebanon, you’ll find in the new Hamra store a great variety of clothes, jewelry, food, pottery and plants, all made in Lebanon.
What is special about it though, is the absence of plastic packaging associated with the purchases. Every buyer is encouraged to bring his/her own container for a more eco-friendly environment. The hub opens from Monday to Saturday, from 10AM to 7:30PM.
