This photo as well as many others are part of the competition held by the Environmental fund for Lebanon. One of the most impressive pictures is the one below taken by David Habchy and entitled “Nature Clash”. It portrays the nature clash at the blue line: the border line between Lebanon (right side) and the Occupied Land (left side) (Landscape format). Same land but with different use of its resources. [EFL]
You can check out all the pictures [Here].
You might get arrested or taking such pictures in the south, El Hezb is very sensitive about photography there.
What an enemy !!!!!, They are making benefit from every inch of the land , even in the most dangerous zone. we keep on talking and talking and singing ( ya jnoub), just blow in the air nothing on earth
It’s amazing what the Israelis can do with the same piece of land…
We can learn much from the “enemy”
better than you, at least they’re using their resources in a good way
considering both lands have the same soil composition, the “enemy” as u stated are wise enough to use wat is available and prosper, as for us “blamers” we point at the land and cry out “ya jnoub wat have THEY done to u” hope someday we will dig our fingers in the soil again instead of pointing.
AMAZING PIX GREAT WORK DAVID!
Its called sarcasm.. the real enemy lives within Lebanon..
Interesting border photo. Very similar to this recently famous photo of the US / Mexico border. (Mexico is shown on the right.)

Sadly I don’t have the photographer’s name.
The other side looks really impressive, and makes them look so very industrious… but… this is a semi-arid climate naturally suited to growing olives. Where are they getting the water to grow all those lush, water hungry trees?
