I don’t think the problem is with the resorts but it is with the people going there – they will not accept a maid swimming with them.

I agree with this. Most probably the problem will be caused to the resorts by the lebanese, i cannot but say it, i am no longer proud to say i am lebanese. This people is corrupted beyond repair possibilities and i just cannot understand that ego issue, lik 3achou aslan, kel yalli chatrin fi ta2 l hanak, showing off and doing everything that is not useful
And the tourist campaign in lebanon “chou fi bi lebanon” seriously chou fi bi lebanon!!!. BIG respect for the Zahrat al khaziran guy.
Its not about migrant workers only, unfortunately, it goes further than this. Single guys arent admitted in some beaches during weekends or sundays if they are alone or without their families. Come on, even in KSA they are not this complexed. This is what happened with me last sunday at LaGuava in Rmeileh. I went all the way there to find out i couldnt go in according to the big muscled empty headed bodyguard they put there. But eventually i parked and managed to get in since he was not even serious to check if i left or not, he just made sure to say the stupid remark at the entrance. WTF.
The funny part is that we are proud to say we are Lebanese as far as we distinguish ourselves from the middle earth people who currently reside in Lebanon.

as if we need more problem in the trourism sector!!! the lost untill now for the 5* hotels in beirut only is not less than 5 million due to the GCC ban to our country.stop blaming the resorts and blame yourself i am more than 100% that each one of u have a maid at his place and he never ask his parents why this girl doesnt have a day off or a break!!! abel ma tbalsho falsafe roo7o balsho bi 7alkon!! and yes i am proud being a lebanese and yes we r diffrent than the other arabs!
Single or a group of guys are also not allowed in any beach resort, it’s really stupid, so i’m not allowed to go to the beach unless i have a girlfriend????
