We all know that there are a lot of German fans in Lebanon, but there hasn’t been an official fan club up until this year. This being said, the German Football Fans Facebook Group was founded back in May 2014 and has gathered over 9000 fans till now. Moreover, they’ve managed to reserve two football courts with the help of the German Embassy in Beirut where German fans can go to watch the games on huge LED screens.

The two courts are open for all the fans throughout the World Cup and can fit up to 3000 people per game. Entrance fees are for 15,000LL (2 drinks (soft or beer) + snackers) or 20,000LL (2 drinks (soft or beer) + 1 Sandwich (4 options) + snackers) which are reasonable fees. There’s also a section for those who want to smoke Arguile which I disapprove of to be honest.

I usually like to watch the games at home but I think I will join all the German fans for a game or two at the courts.

The football courts are located at LEFC Arena in Mkalles. To know more about the event and get directions, check [Here].
