Joseph Al-Hajj registered back in January to get his vaccination slot, but never received any feedback from the authorities despite having priority as an 80-year old. In the mean time, the Health Minister was too busy sneaking vaccines for MPs and his buddies.

After waiting for over a month, Al-Hajj resorted to Judge Carla Chawwah, who after studying his case, issued a decision at Beirut civil court ordering the health ministry to provide vaccination to Al-Hajj within 48 hours. If the ministry doesn’t comply, they will be fined 10 million Lebanese pounds for each day of delay.

Let’s wait and see if this will work.
