Kebbet La2teen is a very famous dish prepared during Lent. It is not the healthiest of Kebbes (Is there a healthy Kebbe to begin with?) but it is really good. It is a Lebanese dish and does not take much time to prepare. Here’s a link that I found on how to prepare it.

Yes there is 1 healthy kebby; it’s called Kebbet Batata. I’m not sure if it is known in whole Lebanon but for sure at North Lebanon. It’s made from boiled mashed potato, bourghoul, parsley and mint. It’s so tasty. My grandma does it and it’s awesome. I miss that taste since been long time didn’t ate it.

Well, some people bake it yes and they put some chickpea on it; I guess this is the one you are referring at, Najib.
The one I was talking about is not baked. Once the boiled potato is ready and mashed, you just mix all ingredients together, you put it in a plate, you add olive oil and you eat! Sa7tein 🙂
