Can we be very clear that half if not most of the video doesn’t even show the concerned branch of the lebanese university? If the student is from the nabatieh branch they should show that campus rather than the one that was showed which is that of hadath. Furthermore, the video shows people smoking arguille in hadath in the cafeteria which was part of a very old report lbc showed. The cafeteria has been closed for a long time and smoking arguille or even selling it were banned. And let’s be very clear about one thing, yes, many students are politically affiliated but one mention of political slogans gets you suspended, so where on Earth did they get those images of flags everywhere on campus? One (close-minded) student did speak out and the backlash from the entire student body was immense from both girls who stood up to him, and boys who were willing to do to him what he threatened to do to those girls.
Yes the lebanese minister as always is absent in what concerns what is known as “jem3it el balad” bas the entire lebanese university and its students shouldn’t be portrayed so negatively.
Josiane,
We are all aware of practices at several Lebanese University branches and nothing is being done to stop them. One close-minded student spoke out but he didnt apologize and the university didnt reprimand him even.
“bas the entire lebanese university and its students shouldn’t be portrayed so negatively.”

what do u expect from AJ?
I guess it is not up to the ministry of education to do something. Universities in Lebanon follow the ministry of higher studies and culture.
