Quick and efficient responses for medical emergencies are almost always hindered by traffic congestion especially in the cities. For that purpose, Bank Audi and the UNDP unveiled a great initiative where they supplied Civil Defense paramedics with motorcycles in order to promptly perform first aid procedures until an ambulance arrives. By doing so, the paramedics will have to assist the victims and increase their chances of survival before regular ambulances arrive.

The launch took place in partnership with the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities and LBCI and a live demo was done on site and broadcasted on LBCI.

Let’s hope that the next phase will include adding more motorcycles to cover more areas and allowing paramedics to reach their destination in the fastest possible way.
