L’Orient-Le Jour CEO and Baalbeck Festival President Nayla de Freige was awarded yesterday during a ceremony in Paris the “Grand Prix Du Rayonnement Français – Prix du rayonnement francophone” in the presence of France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron. Created in 2009, the “Grand Prix Du Rayonnement Français” rewards each year a personality or an institution, French or foreign, which carries the colors of France high in the world. There are five categories for the prize ranging from gastronomy, economy, humanitarian acts, tourism and Francophone.

The prize was awarded by French writer, editor, and diplomat Daniel Rondeau. Congrats to Nayla and the L’Orient-Le Jour & Baalbeck Festival teams.
