Mona Baalbaki, the previous head of Pharmacy in Rafic Hariri Hospital "has been sacked by the General Disciplinary Council for stealing a large quantity of health ministry-donated cancer medicines from the hospital and selling them for hundreds of millions of Lebanese pounds". The worst part, as per the same report, is that she was replacing stolen medicines with expired drugs given to a larger number of cancer patients, mostly women and children, without their knowledge…

Instead of controlling the valet companies and fining those who are breaking the law , the Ministry of Interior & Tourism agreed in a joint statement to fix the valet service price at 5000 Lebanese Liras. The Ministry of Telecommunications announced reductions on the mobile lines prices, including a significant drop in prices for the prepaid lines from $25 to $3.3.
