I missed out on new Ogero Head Imad Kreidieh's talk at Arabnet this year but I just read an article where he's promising to "double or triple the internet speed by end of March", which is next week! PM Hariri had already promised a 20 times faster internet within months. I'm guessing the speed increase will be most notably in Beirut so I'll run a speed test next week at the office and see how…

There are planned road works on Makdssi street in Hamra starting March 24 until April 10 and few roads will be blocked during that period. Traffic is already horrible in Hamra so I'm finding it hard to imagine how much worse it could get! On another hand, I find it funny when some news portal or website asks you to stay away from Hamra during these planned works, as if Hamra is some remote area…
