The Cheesecake Factory opens officially today in Verdun, Beirut right across Starbucks but the media were all invited yesterday to try out the new outlet. I got there around 7 pm and the place was already packed but we were seated quickly. The place looks really nice from the inside and is very spacious. We have 1.5 million refugees in a country of 4 million people. That's the equivalent of: - Germany hosting 20 million refugees. - America hosting 80 million refugees. We are all aware of the situation but it's very hard to compare the situation in Europe vs Lebanon.
