The Baalbeck Festival was held in Jdeideh last year for security concerns. It was the first time in 15 years that the International Festival was held outside the city's ancient ruins. However, Nayla de Freige, President of Baalbeck International Festival’s executive committee, told Executive that they are hoping to bring back the festival to Baalbeck this year.
