WTF is happening in Lebanon?
Nothing is going on in lebanon
murders like this and roberies happen in every country
Yes, but murder like this is always a REAL shame for a country.
It may be the cause of the State, which doesn’t care about social things.
But please spread PEACE and LOVE !!
Right!!! Take your blinders off!
Sergio, are you serious?? nah nah, you must be sarcastic..no one is that naive.
Sergio wake up from your coma
ok lets SUPPOSE it happens in every country we dont need that not even a single gun shot even if no one killed, coz he wave enough problems we are in a sensitive situation here
Sergio is right. Stuff like this happens all over the place. The only reason it affects everyone so badly is because you watched it happen.
It’s a particularly nasty crime over a stupid motorcycle but the world is full of people like this.
Would you get into a fight with someone on the road here? I certainly wouldn’t precisely for this reason.
In any country where guns are freely available, these crimes will happen.
Desmond Bey
The only reason it affects everyone is….because the affect is cumulative. There are tens of incidences all over Lebanon daily. Kindly wake up from your self induced coma. We should be realistic and stop living a pipe dream.
Hi Jeff,
Self-induced coma? What on earth are you babbling about? There are and always have been “tens of incidences all over Lebanon daily.”
There are worse things going on in the country that aren’t televised or reported on yet you are the only one who has his eyes open, who has seen the truth.
If you had only read about this instead of seeing it as well, would you have had the same reaction? I’ll give you a little hint: if you say yes, you’ll be bending the truth a little.
Now what I would like is for you to explain how I am in a self-induced coma, what is not realistic about my opinion and what pipe dream you are referring to.
Desmond Bey.
“There are worse things going on in the country that aren’t televised…”
Worse things than a person being shot dead in cold blood. I guess you on the dark side. Everyone has an opinion…You have yours and I have mine. I guess you can write well but address nothing.:D
Hello again Jeff,
Yes, we all have our opinions.
My replies to you are based on reading your comments – before you answer anything, I would appreciate if you read mine properly, particularly the first.
My dark side is called reality and I’m afraid there aren’t as many rainbows and unicorns as there appear to be on your side.
You’re being very naive if you can’t imagine a crime worse than that – I already said it was particularly nasty, but yes, there are worse.
I’ve addressed everything you wrote but if you go back and read my comments you’ll see that you haven’t answered one of my questions for you to clarify your thoughts.
I write well because I think well.
Please address that.
What’s worse than death? Living in Lebanon?
Desmond thinking and writing have no connection…Just for your information the greatest genii in the world could not put together two sentences. So please don’t flatter yourself.:D
Jeff, Jeff, Jeff….I don’t need to flatter myself as you did it for me….or do you have trouble remembering what you wrote at 3.21pm?
Nobody is wondering if there anything worse than death, the point was that there are worse crimes than shooting somebody in cold blood – please stay on subject.
Your answer to your own question was amusing, though…
In your case, thinking and writing may have no connection but to the rest of the educated world they are inexorably intertwined and I think the word you are looking for is “geniuses” – genii are something else.
I suggest you study the well researched link between writing and thinking before you come out with nonsense like that.
Desmond. Thank you for the babble…You have proven again that writing well and researching/writing “big words” has no connection with intellect or a thought process.
Keep on chirping ole chap
true, but they didnt used to happen in Lebanon! at least not that frequently!
despite all the political nonsense, the lack of resources , the corruption it was still considered a safe country!
with all that’s been happening lately, its sad to say that its not anymore!everyday we r hearing more and more bout robberies murders in broad daylight…
This only happens frequently in third world, non-civalized, corrupt, ill-educated countries because people know they can do it and get away with it.
These guys were caught on camera. I wonder if they’ll even get arrested, and if so would they actually get a realistic sentence? they are probably backed by someone that will make sure they’ll be okay.
That’s why this does not happen everywhere.
They have apparently all given themselves up to the police.
I disagree that these things only happen frequently in Third World countries, etc. Even in the US violent criminals don’t give a crap about the law and kill people in full view of cameras – not sure if that’s not caring or being too thick to realize – and then are handed ridiculous sentences or not caught at all.
In London, the most CCTVed city in the world, police routinely arrest thugs who stab, kill, rob, beat and who knows what else because they were caught on camera but are sometimes let go for “lack of evidence” or “procedural mistakes”.
It’s too easy to pass this stuff off as solely the domain of developing countries. Crazed gun-toting maniacs and their accomplices are unfortunately citizens of the world.
Relax people… these kind of incidents happen all over the world as well as in Lebanon, it just happens you heard about it this time because of the delicate situation we are going through right now and the fact that it’s videotaped, our crime rate is doing just fine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate
OK Jeff, yeah. Good comeback.
