I don’t see how sukleen is responsible for all of this. It’s our shitty retarded politicians that you elect every single time. It’s been 3 days, and they haven’t come up with a solution yet.
Sukleen charges 130$/ton of garbage, while others take 50-60$. The nehmeh dump was supposed to stay for 2 years, taking 10% of the total garbage of beirut and mt lebanon, but now it’s been open for 17 years, taking in 80% of the garbage. I think we have the right to blame sukleen, at least partially.
I think now is a very good time for Lebanese people to take their own garbage to the Sukleen department ,I would very much be happy to see their reactions after how many pple ive seen point fingers and laugh at those who take our garbage everyday regardless of the cause of this matter ,and they should start thinking about the piled up mountains in Saida, Karantina …. instead of bombing each other
Yeah exactly. I was in no way blaming sukleen’s workers who already face enough trouble. But this whole situation undermines the level of corruption present in our country, with politicians surely getting paid for temporarily renewing sukleen’s contract every year.
I already don’t like Lebanons ugly streets ,its enough that I see pple throwing their shit out of their windows everyday ,now im even hating it more
