In the midst of all the madness happening, I’m happy to share some good news for a change. The Nuhad Es-Said Pavilion for Culture has officially opened its doors to visitors with an inaugural exhibition entitled “Portals and Pathways, A Journey Through Reality and Imagination” featuring the work of 33 outstanding Lebanese artists.

The pavilion was named after the late Nuhad Es-Said, a businessman, an art passionate and a distinguished collector of Islamic art, and was designed by award-winning architectural firm Raed Abillama Architect. Alongside its exhibition area, the pavilion also includes a beautiful café led by renowned Lebanese chef Hussein Hadid and facing the iconic Beirut Hippodrome.

All proceeds from Nuhad Es-Said Pavilion for Culture and its activities will go towards the preservation and sustainability of the National Museum of Beirut. The space is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Entrance is free to all.
