Mohammad el Zo3bi, Tripoli’s amputee protester, is one of the most heartwarming stories of this revolution. El Zo3bi lost his leg in a car accident few years back and was spotted during the many protests cleaning the Tripoli square. Dr Raed Lattouf was able to get in touch with Mohammad and took a personal initiative to help the young man. A month later, Mohammad is now walking on both legs after he got his prosthetic leg.

The 42-year old man couldn’t be more delighted as he was given a new chance and can now work on both legs to provide his family of four.
