Uber announced few weeks back that it’s offering free rides on Elections Day and has just unveiled the promo code to be entered on Uber’s ride-sharing mobile app. Two free rides (up to $7 per ride) will be offered around Beirut, Metn and Baabda and are aimed to ease traffic and encourage voters to get to the polling stations without the hassle of finding nearby parking lots.

How does it work?
– Download the Uber app
– Enter the promo code (Sawwet18)
– Request a ride to and from your polling location
– Enjoy your free ride from 7am to 7pm, knowing that each ride cannot exceed the value of $7.
