Lebanese flag shoes are being sold at some mall apparently to celebrate Lebanon’s Independence day. I am pretty sure this happens everywhere around the world with all types of flags, whether it’s a national day, a sporting event or any occasion. I remember seeing flip flops and even boxers with flags all over them during the World Cup, so it’s not big deal and it’s definitely not insulting or disrespectful to sell Lebanese flag shoes.
And I beg everyone to stop asking the authorities to censor stuff because this is the last thing we need.
Goes to show you that we have our priorities in check …
the problem is that the shoes doesn’t look appealing 😛 i don’t really like superega shoes. But yeah why do lebanese get offended so easily ? and why do we depend on incidents to express our patriotism ? thats all so weird.
Uhhh….love how they focus on the petty details…if they focused as much time and energy on the real issues we wouldn’t be in the situation we’re in now! That’s probably why this country will never change! PS. I used to own and wear my American flag converse….and so did half my school in the States:

Relax people, I am not saying that the Lebanese are not easily offended hot-blooded people… but you are making too much out of a stupid article in a stupid website desperate for readers and willing to write about anything….

it reminds me of the cross they saw on flip flops in Some Big Sale shop a few years ago ,how ignorant as.if the shop owner planned to put them .I get it though if some sect sells Christian beads or anything related to cross and with their name of their stupid leader on it but i wouldn’t be insulted by seeing a tiny cross or lebanese flag on a flipflop
