The World Happiness 2025 Report has been released, and unfortunately, Lebanon ranks 145th out of 147 countries, positioning it among the least happy nations in the world. This ranking is based on data collected from over 140 countries, with high-quality analysis conducted by leading global researchers from various academic disciplines.
The report considers six key factors:
– Social Support
– GDP per Capita
– Healthy Life Expectancy
– Freedom
– Generosity
– Perceptions of Corruption
When comparing Lebanon to other Arab countries, the UAE ranked highest, coming in 21st globally, followed by Kuwait (#30), Saudi Arabia (#32), Oman (#52), Bahrain (#59), Iraq (#101), Jordan (#128), Egypt (#135), and Yemen (#140).Finland remains the happiest country in the world for the eighth consecutive year, while the United States has dropped to its lowest position ever, ranking 24th.
