Lebanese Plane Spotters leaked a photo earlier this week of MEA’s first Airbus A321neo with the new livery. Scanning through the comments, most people didn’t like the dominant blue color which doesn’t really mix with the rest nor relate to MEA or the Lebanese flag.

Looking at the Airbus A320 in MEA’s current fleet, it did have some blue but it was a shy line that went well with the overall design. The A321neo blue is hideous on the other hand.

It is worth noting that MEA will receive 10 additional between 2020 and 2021. Four Airbus A330-900neo will join the fleet as well, 2 in 2021 and 2 in 2022.
