AirHelp, an organization specializing in air travel rights, has just released its annual airline rankings. Middle East Airlines ranked 98th out of 109 airlines. Airhelp ranks the world’s best-known airlines based on three metrics: on-time performance, claim compensation and customer opinion.
Regionally speaking, here’s how the Middle East Airlines compared to other airlines:
2. Qatar Airways
8. Air Arabia
11. Etihad Airways
19. Oman Air
20. Kuwait Airways
35. Saudia
55. Emirates
57. Royal Jordanian
81. Gulf Air
96. Egyptair
98. Middle East Airlines
I don’t think the ranking is entirely fair, though, as MEA received a score of 0 in claim compensation, which probably means there wasn’t enough data to rate this metric. If we exclude it or replace the 0 with a 4, MEA would rank in the top 30 airlines with its 6.9 score for on-time performance and 7.8 for customer opinion.
