Lebanese Architect Hashim Sarkis, a prominent scholar of architecture and urbanism, has been named the new dean of MIT’s School of Architecture and Planning , effective in January. Hashim has published works on architecture and urbanism in Lebanon, in addition to writing about leading 20th-century modernist architects. Redrock will be located next to Faqra Club spread on a 300,000 sqm of land. Apparently there will be a working bio agricultural farm producing natural organic vegetables, fruits and naturally fed poultry for the benefit of residents. That's a pretty cool idea but I can imagine how pricey these chalets will be.
