After seven years, Red Bull Car Park Drift regional finals are coming back to Beirut and will take place on Sunday the 23rd of September, starting 12:00, in the Parking lot adjacent to Beirut’s Martyrs’ Square. A friend of mine compiled the TMC stats for car accidents during the month of August and shared them in a graph. The numbers are alarming to say the least and nothing much is being done to prevent further accidents and promote road safety. I'm not sure how the numbers compare to previous months or last year, but 437 car accidents resulting in 40 casualties and over 600 injuries is A LOT in one month!…
