A study conducted by the Crisis Observatory at the American University of Beirut warned that Lebanon will not reach herd immunity before the summer of 2025 at this slow pace. Ogero announced today that we might be facing internet connectivity issues in Lebanon due to maintenance works planned on the submarine communications cable system. Lebanon relies solely on this cable and our only backup is an outdated cable system from Cyprus. Ogero mentioned they will be using other cables as a backup but they only have a not-so-reliable alternative which is the Cyprus line as far as I know. Internet is already bad in Lebanon…
