Ethiopian runner Kadir Pecaro won the 42.195 Km race while "Hussein Awada was the first Lebanese to finish the same race with a time of 2 hours and 28 minutes" . Tannoura Maxi clinched two awards at the Monaco Charity Film Festival Awards 2012, Best Actress for Joy Karam and Most Promising Director for Joe Bou Eid.
