“That’s the thing though in Lebanon now: whether it’s Christmas or any other day, there’s no joy left.”

This quote pretty much sums up Christmas in Lebanon this year. Closed shops, deserted shopping malls and streets, barely any Christmas lights and an ever worsening economic crisis.

Despite it all, few municipalities and malls decided to keep the Christmas spirit alive, in the hopes that it would lift people’s Morales in these tough times.
