VDL (100.5): FIBA has reportedly taken a decision to suspend for four year’s the Lebanese national basketball team’s participation at international tournaments.
The Lebanese Federation did not confirm or react to this decision but there’s no denying that we deserve this ban. The Lebanese Federation is a disgrace and needs to resign immediately specially after the flagrant financial scandal. I only feel bad for the players and the fans but I am almost sure we can reduce or remove this suspension once we have a decent federation and proper regulations to keep politics away from the sport.

kirmelna 3am nitbahdal bkawnna lebanese. All the scandals, the crimes (as the one we heard of yesterday), the football scandal with Qatar, and now this. We used to take pride in being Lebanese, but after what has come, I just want ANY other passport.
Remembering that, some time ago, we played the World Championship … Everything is going backward in this country… Shame. We had enough. Everything is corrupted, everything is degrading, everything is instrumentalized … We are the one who need a revolution.
Isn’t that weird.

– We are more than 7 Millions abroad, and we treat foreigners as animals, if not worse
– We advertise the beaches and the mountains while they are contaminated/ private and full of stone quarries respectively
– We Love Lebanon but we do not know the Lebanese Anthem
– We are Phoenicians for the west to distinguish us from Arabs, we are Arabs for Arabs to get their money, we have Europeans features for Europeans to host us
– We keep on praising the past and advertising it (Lebanon the green, Switzerland of the middle east, ). Stupid us. None of that is true.
We became with time incredibly permissive, as if we accepts others infractions and violations (corruption, manipulation, public money stealing) just because our turn may come and we will do the same. WTH …

What about all this weird silence from the concerned minister ? Hadan seme3lo sawto ? I don’t go on cursing and saying lebanon is not good, all what’s happening is because of corrupted people being affected by politics and personal interests… Once those scumbags are gone , we can restore what we lost ! But the question is, when and who will remove them ??!
