I really hope that he can influence that, this is the worst thing that would happen to Lebanon. Recent report indicated that the internet constitutes ~5% of the US economy, a little less than a trillion dollars. Instead of doing this they should focus on upgrading the infrastructure and preventing ISPs from stealing people like they’re doing right now!
