The Spot Choueifat is expected to open on May 18 and according to hospitalitynewsmag, it will bring “a varied F&B offering including Starbucks, Chocolate & Chocolate, Dip n Dip, Burger King, Kababji, Cinnabon, Candy Cool, Ahwak, P.F. Chang’s, Ihop, Crepaway, among many others”.
IHOP, which stands for the International House of Pancakes, is an American chain specialized for its breakfast foods and obviously its pancakes. I’ve never had the chance to eat at an IHOP so it’s pretty cool to have one here finally in Lebanon.
I missed out on the sneak peak media tour for The Spot Choueifat so I didn’t have the chance to ask them about IHOP opening date. I will update you as soon as I have further information.
PS: I just noticed Gino has already shared this story. I’m buying him breakfast there as soon as it opens 😛
Tbh I don’t think you should get your hopes up. If it’s anything like the kuwait branch, the eggs usually have a zankha smell and it’s never served hot off the pan, always slightly warm. More so here the cheapest dishes are around 3KD for kids meal which is 15,000LL almost..so I’m sure in Lebanon is going to be jacked up just like Cheesecake Factory compared to here, you’re looking at paying 25-40 thousand per person for breakfast, for mediocre food.
