When supermarkets decided to axe plastic bags in Australia, one fed-up customer decided to put the entire shopping kart and take it back home. When interviewed by a local channel, he welcomed them “the Lebanese Way” and went on to brag about what he did.

The stunt is a funny one but I hope he’s not serious about getting charged for plastic bags. It’s not “just a plastic bag” as plastic pollution is one of the world’s biggest pollution problems and banning them is a great step forward. On another note, he can just buy a kart and use it when he goes shopping if he’s that upset about bags. It’s eco-friendly and more practical.
